Synopsis of 2004 Program

Sunday, June 6- Arrive on the campus of the University of Arizona, receive dorm assignments, Ropes Ice Breaker.
Monday, June 7- Campus tour starting at the Department of Geosciences, program overview, Web Site Workshop, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Bats Field Trip.
Tuesaday, June 8- Rillito Creek Field Trip, Career Planning, Water Analysis, Web Site Workshop.
Wednesday, June 9- Sabino Canyon Field Trip, Goal Setting Workshop, Tree Ring Lab, Web Site Workshop.
Thursday, June 10- Colossal Cave and Kartchner Caverns Field Trip.
Friday, June 11- College Prep workshop, Web Site Workshop, Team Presentations, Barbecue.
Saturday, June 12- Check out of dorm rooms.

Program Information

Information for Students (pdf) This document provides information for students on what to bring for the week long program, meals, accommodations and information for parents on the student presentations.

Student Forms

Students must complete all of the following forms to participate in the 2004 Summer Residency program. Accessthe forms here, print them, filled them out and return to your school coordinator.

Applicant Agreement (pdf) Provides information on student insurance and liability, parent and guardian information.

Student Questionnaire (pdf) This form will provide us with information on your academic interests and experience.

Student Information Sheet (pdf) This form will provide us with information on your interests in earth science and other sciences.

Student Biosketch (pdf) The Biosketch will provide us with information on your interest outside of school and on your plans for the future.

Personal Responsibility (pdf) and ROPES Medical (pdf) Both of these forms must be completed to participate in the ROPES Course Orientation.
